How CEREC Same-Day Technology Works

CEREC makes getting a dental crown more convenient. There is no wait time, and you don’t have to endure messy impression materials in the mouth or multiple trips to the dentist.

With CEREC, Dr. Grewal prepares your tooth for crowning. Then, we take a digital impression of the prepared tooth. We forward the impression results to an onsite computer for specifications. Then, it is off to our printer.

After we print the crown, which is made of quality porcelain, your dentist makes final adjustments to fit and color before cementing it over your tooth.

Taking Care of Your Restoration

Taking care of your crown is simple because you treat it like a natural tooth—brush it, floss around it, and continue visiting the dentist for checkups and teeth cleanings every six months.
